We Sell Homes For Food
Here’s a fact: A portion of every commission that we earn goes to area food banks. It’s not a gimmick, it’s a lifelong commitment to giving back to those in need.
Both of us grew up in families with little money, so we know what it means to struggle. But no matter how tight things got, we never went hungry.
Today as we raise our own family in Omaha, we have dedicated our time and resources to numerous charitable activities. But the one thing we’ve learned is that until someone in need has a full stomach and the assurance that future meals will be available, they are incapable of making any of the changes they need to make to improve their situations. When a single mom can’t feed her children, it’s hard for her to put her best foot forward in a job interview. It’s hard to ask an elderly shut-in to choose between medicine and food. Being well fed is the first step, and without it, the rest can’t happen.
So on top of the work our family does through our church and other organizations, we are committed to feeding hungry people. We know it’s the very least we can do to make a difference.
